Young Swiftie Given ’22’ Hat Goes Viral for Dance Moves at Taylor Swift’s Hamburg Eras Tour: ‘Future Backup Dancer’
The latest recipient of Taylor Swift‘s “22” hat can’t stop, won’t stop groovin’!
One young Swiftie practically stole the show during the singer’s first Eras Tour show in Hamburg, Germany, on Tuesday, July 23 by showing off her impressive dance skills before getting to come face-to-face with the “Karma” singer.
Each show, Swift selects a different fan from the audience to receive the black hat she wears during the opening number of the Red era, and Tuesday’s recipient couldn’t have been a more perfect choice.
As seen in now-viral footage circulating on social media, the young girl was dancing her heart out while Swift, 34, made her way down the stage to meet her.
The adorable fan only stopped dancing once Swift was right in front of her, and she looked overwhelmed with excitement as the pop star knelt down and wrapped her up in a big hug.
“A future backing [sic] dancer for @taylorswift13 receives the 22 hat,” one fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter) alongside the precious clip, which showed Swift sweetly placing the hat on the young girl’s head in return of one of her friendship bracelets.
“She was such a vibe!! what an angel!” another Swiftie gushed after seeing the clip. Someone else even went as far as to say she was the “Best 22 Hat receiver so far!!!”
After Swift gave the girl a high-five, the fan then reached in for another hug, which Swift happily obliged while continuing to sing the lyrics of “22.”
Swift could be seen telling the young girl “I love you,” as she walked back to join the rest of her dancers on stage.
In another video shared on X, the young girl could be seen getting escorted back to her family, where she ran right into her mom’s arms, still happy-crying over the emotional moment.
“I’d react like this to [sic]!!! So precious !!!!!” another Swiftie wrote in response to the sweet clip.
After Tuesday’s show, Swift will perform another concert in Hamburg on Wednesday, July 24, before heading to Munich for two consecutive shows over the weekend.
