Chrissy Teigen and John Legend made a surprise appearance on Ellen DeGeneres’ daytime talk show, which will air its final episode next Thursday.
While getting ready to sit down with the 30-time Emmy winner, 64, one last time, one of Hollywood’s fan-favorite couple crossed the stage holding hands.
Their visit came as quick the shock to DeGeneres, who has been flooded with virtual video messages from past guests and her A-List pals all week.

‘Surprise, we’re here!’ Legend mused as his wife sat on his lap. ‘We were going to make a video and… congratulate you on your wonderful run and we decided, why don’t we just come over?
DeGeneres admitted she was overjoyed that they decided to come because she feared she wouldn’t she them on the show before its imminent end.

The trio went on to reminisce on Legend’s first appearance on the show back in 2004, in which she called him an ‘up and coming singer’ as he prompted his first single.
‘I was 25 or 26…I’m 43 now,’ he reflected as footage of him performing panned across the screen.
Teigen went on to thank DeGeneres for always being so warm and ‘welcoming’ to them, before calling her ‘inspiring’ and ‘goals.’

During the segment, the 52-year-old rapper cleared up the confusion surrounding his nickname ‘Diddy’ and his legal name, Sean Love Combs.
Additionally, the hip-hop icon also explained how he feels about his teen daughters Chance, 16, and 15-year-old twins Jessie James and D’Lila Star having boyfriends.

When DeGeneres started asking questions about his girl’s love lives, she told him he was ‘confused’ for thinking they didn’t have any boyfriends yet.
‘They better not be dating,’ he quipped, before asking the audience when kids start going on dates.
He, however, admitted when his youngest kids asked if they could have boys over he said: ‘No.’
