Chrissy Teigen roasts John Legend for not knowing what a grand slam was before attending the World Series

The media personality, 38 – who recently stunned at the 2024 InStyle Imagemaker Awards in Bel Air – jumped to the comment section of the All Of Me singer’s post uploaded to Instagram.

He had paused for a few memorable photos with children Luna, eight, and Miles, six as the trio watched the Los Angeles Dodgers defeat the New York Yankees at Dodgers stadium.

In the caption, he wrote, ‘Wow. One of the craziest live sports moments I’ve seen. Walk off grand slam in the bottom of the 10th. Great World Series Game 1!’

However, Teigen quickly went to the comment section and joked, ‘you didn’t even know it was a grand slam til I said it was don’t make me post the receipts.’

Playing along, John then responded to Chrissy by typing, ‘@chrissyteigen true! i missed the intentional walk since they don’t make them go through the 4 pitch charade anymore.’

The beauty appeared to not have been at the game in Los Angeles, as well as their youngest children, Esti, one, and Wren, also one.

In the pictures, Legend could be seen sporting a stylish, light blue denim jacket as well as a plain white shirt and white jeans.

His eldest child, Luna, donned a blue Dodgers cap as well as son Miles who also carried a warm Dodgers blanket as they cheered on the Los Angeles team.

In another snap, his daughter sweetly wrapped her arms around her father as the pair posed for a quick selfie together while sitting in the stands.

Lastly, John was also joined by photographer Mike Rosenthal for the big night and they stopped for a photo together after crossing paths.

The Dodgers notably won Friday’s game with a score of 6-3, and are slated to play game two in the World Series on Saturday in L.A.

Game one was a star-studded event, drawing in other celebrities such as pregnant Jennifer Lawrence, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Ashton Kutcher and also Mila Kunis.

However, Teigen quickly went to the comment section and joked, 'you didn't even know it was a grand slam til I said it was don't make me post the receipts'

Chrissy and John appear to be big fans of baseball, and earlier this month, the pair celebrated the Dodgers winning and heading to the World Series.

Teigen shared a video to her Instagram stories as she accompanied John, Luna and Miles to the game at Dodgers stadium last weekend.

As the mother-of-four sat closely next to Luna, she also filmed her husband excitedly yelling, ‘Going to the [World] Series, baby!’

Despite not making an appearance at Friday’s game, Chrissy has been keeping busy and glammed up for the 2024 InStyle Imagemaker Awards on Thursday in Bel Air.

She flaunted her toned figure wearing a black, semi-sheer halter dress that fell down to brush the ground.

The star’s long locks were parted in the middle, and effortlessly cascaded past her shoulders in light waves.

Teigen accessorized the look with a pair of gold earrings as well as chunky, gold bracelets on each of her wrists.

And last weekend on Saturday, she dressed to impress once again as she exuded old Hollywood glamour alongside John as they attended the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures Gala in L.A.

The Cravings author wore a figure-hugging, off-white strapless gown that contained shimmering layered details on the side.

A long train flowed down behind her for an elegant flare, and she added a glittering necklace for a finishing touch.

Legend was dapper in a cream-colored blazer as well as a white dress shirt and black trousers. To complete the ensemble, the singer added a black bowtie and sleek shoes.

The couple – who tied the knot in 2013 – cozied up together as they paused for a brief photo session on the red carpet.

Chrissy and John share Luna, Miles, Esti and Wren – who was born via surrogate in June 2023. In 2020, the pair lost son Jack when Teigen was 20 weeks pregnant due to a partial placenta abruption.

She had initially stated that she miscarried, but later in 2022, Chrissy revealed that she had a life-saving abortion.

And during a recent interview on the Club Shay Shay podcast in an episode that aired on Wednesday, John opened up about the experience.

‘My wife, she was well past 15 weeks when she had to have an abortion. She was miscarrying and bleeding out, and all these things were happening.’

Host Shannon Sharpe then said, ‘Her life was in danger,’ with Legend agreeing, ‘Her life was in danger.’

Chrissy and her family are also preparing for Halloween and she recently told People, ‘We love Halloween. But now it’s about kids’ Halloween.’

‘I actually prefer kid ones because they’re so fun and they’re so cute and they’re during the day and I can still go to bed early and stuff.’

She then revealed that her son Miles wanted to dress up as Marshmello and stated, ‘He’s obsessed with the DJ Marshmello, so he’s going to be that…’
