What Ter Stegen shouted immediately after suffering season-ending injury
Immediately after falling awkwardly and suffering his serious injury on Sunday, Ter Stegen screamed “My knee. My knee” as he lay helpless on the floor, per Movistar.
The German goalkeeper would later discover he had ruptured ligaments and meniscus in his knee which means he will not play again this season.
“The duration depends a lot on how it evolves, it is 8 months and could be more,” the doctor says.
