A viral TikTok video has emerged featuring a woman who asserts that she attended the same high school as Lopez, alleging that the singer-actress has fabricated aspects of her past and upbringing in the recently released documentary.

In her recently released documentary  The Greatest Love Story Never Told, Jennifer Lopez shared insight into her upbringing as a “middle child.” The singer reveals that among her two siblings, she felt neglected and unnoticed, prompting her to become an enthusiastic worker in pursuit of acknowledgment.

“I wasn’t the oldest and I wasn’t the youngest, I was in the middle,” she said, as per The Daily Mail. Lopez also candidly discusses her tumultuous relationship with her “narcissistic” mother and her father, who she describes as an absentee computer technician, working through the night and sleeping during the day.

In a viral clip from the documentary, the Marry Me actress is seen expressing the hard times she had growing up. “It reminds me of when I was sixteen, in the Bronx, running up and down the block,” the singer says emotionally in the viral clip from the documentary.

One such video has now gone viral, featuring a woman who claims to have attended the same high school as Lopez. In the viral TikTok clip shared by @photosbyangela, she calls out the singer for what she perceives as misleading statements about her past in  The Greatest Love Story Never Told.

“Okay, I truly have left this woman alone for years. I have just been annoyed in silence since High School—I am a Puerto Rican woman from the Bronx, who went to the same high school as you and you’re lying.”

She claimed to have seen the singer’s high school photo and stated that she did not have hair like that. She further questions the singer’s alleged lack of contributions to Bronx communities, saying,

“Please stop using us to look human. We are sick of you, you don’t do sh*t for us. Keep our names out of your mouth. We’re not running up and down the block, not all of us do that—Stop using us to look human. Stop using us to look relatable. We don’t like you.”

The viral TikTok has received mixed responses. While some agreed with her criticism, as they argued that the singer highlights her connection with the Bronx only for promotional purposes, others also came in Lopez’s defense. However, the woman in the viral TikTok later clarified that she attended the same high school as the singer, but during different years. Despite her criticisms, she also admitted to admiring the singer for a significant period.
