Travis Kelce has responded to Jana Kramer’s allegations that he’s negatively influencing his girlfriend, popstar Taylor Swift, due to his off-field drinking habits.

TMZ reports that the Chiefs tight end was surprised by Kramer’s comments on her podcast, where she depicted him as a habitual partier and compared him unfavorably to her ex-husband, former NFL player Mike Caussin. She criticized him for being attention-seeking.

Interestingly, Kramer and Kelce have never met, and Kelce was unaware of the country singer until her recent remarks.

Kelce believes Kramer is just seeking attention, saying she’s “blowing hot air” for a moment in the limelight, a TMZ source shared. Kramer has previously made disparaging comments about other celebrities, calling Brody Jenner the “absolute worst” date last year.

Kramer made the remarks on her podcast on Sunday, claiming that Kelce, 34, is 'always drunk'

On her podcast, Kramer, who is engaged to former England attacking coach Allan Russell, admitted she initially admired Kelce and Swift’s public displays of affection, such as their on-field kiss after Kansas City’s AFC championship victory. However, she expressed concern over Kelce’s behavior this offseason, noting his partying in Las Vegas with teammate Patrick Mahomes and attending major events like the Kentucky Derby and the Miami Grand Prix without Swift.

In defense of Kelce, he and Swift were present at Mahomes’ charity event in Las Vegas last month and have been seen together at Swift’s L.A. mansion during the offseason.

Kelce has supported Swift internationally, traveling to Singapore and Australia to watch her perform. Swift is preparing for the European segment of her ‘Eras’ Tour, with her first concert in Paris this Thursday. As one of America’s most prominent couples, Kelce and Swift are nearing their one-year anniversary, having been linked romantically since the summer of 2023.

Swift disclosed in her Time Magazine Person of the Year profile that she and Kelce were dating by the time she watched him play against the Chicago Bears in September.

Mahomes also commented on Kelce’s past year, praising him as “super intelligent” and suggesting that Kelce’s party animal image is a “persona,” as demonstrated during his New Heights Live show at the University of Cincinnati in April.
