Giving the social media moment the royal treatment
Taylor Swift has finally made her relationship with Travis Kelce Instagram official—and she did so in a royally major way.

For the first time in their near-year of dating, Swift shared a selfie of her and Kelce posing backstage with Prince William and his two oldest kids, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, after her first London Eras Tour show. “Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start 🇬🇧🇺🇸🤝@princeandprincessofwales,” Swift captioned the snap, referencing William’s 42nd birthday, which he celebrated at the concert.
The pop princess was also featured on the Prince and Princess of Wales’ official Instagram account, although her beau was not pictured. “Thank you @taylorswift for a great evening! #LondonTSTheErastour,” the post’s caption read.

While the royal encounter may be Swift and Kelce’s biggest post-show moment yet, the couple has made headlines throughout the run of the Eras Tour. During her performances, Swift has name-checked Kelce on stage, referenced his Chiefs uniform, and even run and kissed him after her Singapore and Buenos Aires shows. Their London moment, however, is the first time the couple has been seen publicly in a month—and of course, marks them going Instagram official.
A source spoke to Entertainment Tonight last week about how the couple of almost one year is trying to minimize their time apart now. “Taylor and Travis make sure that the current long-distance aspect of their relationship doesn’t last very long,” they said. “They both move their schedules around if it’s feasible and try to carve out as much time as they can to see each other, as well as each other’s families and friends.”
“They prioritize each other and do anything and everything to make each other happy,” the insider added. “Their relationship is genuine, and they both want to make it work, so it does.”
