Rick Ross Responds to Bobby Shmurda’s Allegations with Subtle Instagram Jabs.

The tension between Rick Ross and Bobby Shmurda has escalated as the MMG mogul seemingly fired back at the Brooklyn rapper’s claims that he was removed from a concert at Ross’s behest.

Taking to Instagram Stories on Wednesday (July 17), Ross posted a series of cryptic comments that appeared to be directed at Shmurda. The posts, while indirectly addressing the situation, were laden with enough context to stir the pot further.

In one video, Rozay showcased his custom Luc Belaire rosé and Rap Snacks chips, saying, “Ladies and gentlemen, whenever you see someone confused or talking nonsense, just say, ‘Hush up and enjoy your Luc Belaire!’ [laughs].”

Another clip featured Ross zooming in on a pair of Louis Vuitton cowboy boots and a hat, with him adding, “For these dudes acting ridiculous, at least wear these $12,000 boots. If you’re gonna do something silly, do it like the Biggest Bawse, man. These dudes are crazy!”

The camera then panned to another pair of LV boots beside a bottle of Bumbu Rum, with Ross continuing, “If we’re gonna lie, let it be expensive. A pair of $20,000 Louis Vuitton boots, that’s how you do it like a Bawse!”

The drama started earlier on Wednesday when Bobby Shmurda alleged that Rick Ross had ordered his removal from a show after he laughed at an incident where Canadian Drake fans attacked Ross. Shmurda shared his frustration in a now-deleted Instagram video, questioning Ross’s actions and expressing his disappointment.

“Rick Ross, my guy […] I really mess with you. I don’t play with you on some gangster stuff […] I play with you on business and as a man,” Shmurda said. “So why didn’t you call me, big man? Why do I get a call saying, ‘Hey, Rick Ross kicked you off the show.’ I get a call from Barbados saying, ‘We do a lot of business with Rick Ross and we don’t think Bobby is good for the show.’ Come on, man. I don’t want any beef with any of you.”

Shmurda continued, “My whole issue is, MMG calls and says, ‘Hey, we don’t want Bobby Shmurda on the show.’ I’m 30 years old, man […] You could have called me, big man.”

The incident Shmurda referred to involved an altercation where Ross was reportedly punched in the face, and his entourage was severely beaten after he played Kendrick Lamar’s diss track “Not Like Us” towards Drake at a Vancouver festival. Shmurda, who claimed to have “defended” Ross, couldn’t help but laugh at the fight footage, asserting that he would have reacted differently if he were in Ross’s shoes.

“On my late grandma, man, I would’ve gone out like a C-Murder, bro. I swear to God,” he said, referencing the former No Limit rapper currently serving a life sentence for murder.

As the videos circulate, the hip-hop community watches closely to see how this feud will unfold. With two prominent figures like Rick Ross and Bobby Shmurda at odds, it’s clear that this drama is far from over.
