Pedri wants Erling Haaland to sign for Barcelona
“Erling Haaland is the opposition player I want in my team,” Pedri said in his latest interview.
Pedri’s choice is a fine one. Haaland will fit in at Barcelona like a glove, replacing an ageing Lewandowski and feeding off brilliant crosses and through balls from Lamine Yamal, Dani Olmo and Raphinha.
Sadly, Barcelona cannot afford to sign a player like Haaland considering their financial situation at the moment.
Barca were interested in signing Haaland when he left Dortmund for Manchester City in 2022 but the Catalans were priced out of the deal.
Including his salary and sign-on fee, the total package to sign Haaland cost Man City in excess of €200 million.
