Jennifer Lopez reputation has been taking multiple hits, from the various speculation surrounding her marriage to Ben Affleck to the shock that came after she cancelled her world tour with a vague reason.

But now her diva-liked attitude is causing backlash, as Meghan McCain revealed Lopez had a less-than-stellar attitude during a past appearance on The View.

Meghan McCain Says 'View' Cast 'Can't Quit Her,' J.Lo Was 'Deeply Unpleasant' on Show

On the Thursday, June 7 episode of her “Citizen McCain” podcast, McCain shared her experiences with Lopez’s appearances on the daytime talk show, which she used to host.

She remarked that Lopez arrived with a large entourage and “was not nice” to people on set.

Why Meghan McCain Found J.Lo Unpleasant

“She just is a deeply unpleasant person,” McCain recalled. “She had the biggest entourage I’ve ever seen. More than Kim Kardashian and the president. I just don’t really understand why it was needed.”

“I was a host at The View, she was not nice. You don’t always have to be so nice, but it was surprising that people like Kim Kardashian couldn’t be more delightful,” Meghan went on. “When you’re coming on a show for a 10-minute segment… just fake it ‘til you make it for 10 f–king minutes.”

However, not everyone sees Lopez in a negative light. Later in the podcast episode, McCain’s guest, reality TV producer Carlos King, stepped in to defend the singer. He reminisced about his own encounter with J. Lo in 2001, in which he found the actress to be pleasant, a contrast to Meghan’s experience.

“She was so nice, and she didn’t have a big entourage,” King shared. “I went to see J. Lo in Vegas and — top 5 shows I’ve ever been to in my life … She performed and danced for 90 minutes straight — no break. She’s a hard worker, and I was shocked that people weren’t buying the tickets.”

Fans Think J.Lo Is Planning A Huge PR Stunt

For now, Jennifer hasn’t addressed McCain’s comments. But the singer hasn’t responded to most of the controversy surrounding her personal life recently, so this isn’t out of the blue. One recent theory suggests that her alleged divorce from Ben Affleck (which some fans expect her to announce soon) is simply a PR stunt and a way to detract from her failed world tour.

As reported by The U.S. Sun, fans flocked to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, to speculate on recent events. One user questioned, “What if this whole Ben JLo divorce rumors was just a PR move to cancel the tour?”

Another fan shared their perspective, saying, “JLo and Ben divorce rumors were true… but NOW I’m realizing she’d rather pretend her marriage is struggling, leading to the tour cancellation, rather than admit the tour was canned due to poor ticket sales.”

There have also been theories that Affleck is getting treatment for substance abuse, necessitating J.Lo take a step away from the spotlight to focus on him. However, the suspicions remain unsubstantiated.
