LeBron James didn’t realize the world was watching when he let a controversial word slip during a casual conversation.
During a Twitch stream with comedians Kevin Hart, Kai Cenat, and Druski, LeBron James inadvertently used a word he instantly regretted. The incident occurred when LeBron called Hart, not knowing they were live.
When Hart informed him of the live stream, LeBron was visibly shocked and said, “Oh, so the world heard what I just said?” Realizing LeBron’s embarrassment, Hart and Druski began to tease him, making it clear to both LeBron and the audience what he had said.
Protecting His Image
LeBron James, known for maintaining a clean off-court image, was particularly embarrassed by this slip. Although he occasionally uses curse words in public or on his podcast with JJ Redick, there’s one specific word he avoids due to its controversial nature. This word, often used as a racial slur, has been reclaimed by many Black people, including Cenat, Hart, and Druski, who use it freely. However, LeBron, mindful of his large and multicultural following, chooses to avoid it publicly.
