But according to one report, the couple see a baby as a chance to breathe new life into their marriage.

“They are elated and so grateful they are expanding their family,” a source told Us Weekly saying the pair “couldn’t be more excited” following their pregnancy announcement on May 9. Hailey is reportedly six months along.

The insider made reference to the pair’s alleged marital woes, saying, “[They] have gone through hard times recently,” but “this feels like the light at the end of the tunnel.”

“It was everything they needed. Hailey is feeling really good. She has been laying low and trying not to overdo it with her work commitments,” they went on. “They decided to renew their vows to embrace a new chapter together. They wanted to renew and restore their faith in God together, and in their relationship. It was a new commitment and a fresh start for them as a family of three.”

Despite rumors of relationship problems, there was some speculation Hailey could be pregnant leading up to the announcement, especially at Coachella. The model was spotted in an uncharacteristically baggy outfit backstage, leading some fans to accuse her of wanting to start pregnancy rumors to detract from the divorce reports. But it appears few people though Hailey was actually expecting, making her and Justin’s announcement a true surprise.

The couple announced their pregnancy through strikingly similar Instagram posts, both sharing emotional videos capturing a tender moment as they renewed their vows. In the footage, Hailey donned an elegant white lace gown by Saint Laurent, lovingly cradling her baby bump.

Justin and Hailey seem happier than ever despite speculation, given that they renewed their vows and have a mini-me on the way. But it was only a few months ago reports claimed the couple were taking a break, which was further fueled by the fact that Justin just bought a new mansion, which didn’t help rumors that the couple have been living separately.

“Hailey’s struggling,” a source told In Touch, adding, “She just needs time to sort things out on her own.”

“Hailey’s not asking for a divorce,” they continued. “She knows Justin feels hurt and confused, but she feels lost too. She just needs a break.”

Hailey’s dad Stephen Baldwin didn’t help speculation when he asked his followers for prayers for Hailey and Justin, though, in hindsight, the prayers could’ve been over her pregnancy. Hailey later made a post asking her followers not to believe the “fake news,” but she’s been relatively silent otherwise on divorce rumors.

If one thing is for sure, Justin and Hailey’s relationship is going to continue being a huge source of speculation, though hopefully for more positive reasons now that a baby is on the way.
