Jennifer Lopez says she’s ‘the thinnest I’ve ever been’ as she gears up for This is Me Now tour

Jennifer Lopez spilled the secrets behind how she got into “fighting shape”.

The 54-year-old On The Floor singer is currently gearing up to go on tour this summer, marking 25 years since the iconic popstar entered the music scene. J-Lo has boasted she is “ready to go”, and revealed how she has got into the best shape of her life.

The mother of two says that her “exhausting” filming schedule for her new movie has helped her slim down. J-Lo has also revealed that she is currently perfecting the final details for her upcoming This is Me… Now tour – which will kick off in America at the end of June – and is determined to give a performance which will keep everyone in their seats.

Speaking to Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos on Live with Kelly and Mark, J-Lo – who married Ben Affleck in 2022 – described the secrets behind her even-hotter-than-usual-body. She said: “I just finished a movie called Kiss of the Spider Woman, where it was all singing and dancing, which was equal parts exhilarating and exhausting as well.”

In the upcoming musical, J-Lo will play a fantasy woman dreamt up by a gay man who is sent to an Argentine prison. The movie – which does not yet have a release date – is a clear breakaway from the crowd-pleasing fast-paced flicks the actress usually stars in.

Describing the impact of the hectic filming schedule on her current figure, J-Lo said: “I’m the thinnest I’ve ever been. I’m in fighting shape right now.”

The Grammy winner also added that the singing and dancing required for her tour will see her get in super-healthy shape. She said: “It’s moving your body, constantly moving your body, it’s travelling, it’s doing two hours of exertion every night… it’s a time when I get, like, in a really good kind of healthy shape.”

J-Lo promised an unforgettable performance at her upcoming tour

Despite recent reports that J Lo’s upcoming tour was in crisis after record-low ticket sales, she promised to do everything to ensure the shows are “very exciting”. She added that she does not ever want fans to think: “This is the part of the show where I can go get a soda.”
