HOT SHOCKING UPDATE!! Epic Law & Order Crossover! Benson’s Chilling Call Uncovers Brutal Crimes—Don’t Miss This Two-Hour Event!

NBC will air a two-hour Law & Order and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit crossover event this spring.

Dropping Thursday, April 17 at 8/7c, it will follow a mysterious phone call to Benson (Mariska Hargitay) that leads detectives to the scene of a brutal murder. When the SVU and the 2-7 uncover a pattern of rape and murder targeting marginalized women, Carisi (Peter Scanavino) and Price (Hugh Dancy) team up to charge the suspect with multiple crimes.

We last saw Benson make a Law & Order appearance in the original show’s Season 24, Episode 2 “The Perfect Man.”

“We’ve got this newcomer to television named Mariska Hargitay who’s kind of the guest star of our episode,” executive producer and showrunner Rick Eid joked at the time. “She’s got a really meaningful role.”

Following the two-hour event, Law & Order: Organized Crime will also air its Season 5 premiere on NBC at 10/9c. New episodes of Season 5 will now air on Peacock weekly, starting with a two-episode drop on April 17. The trailer dropped in February and featured an ominous Stabler (Chris Meloni) voiceover. “This fight has only just begun,” he said. “The pain. The things I’ve seen. All in the pursuit of one thing — justice.”

Law & Order & SVU: Epic Crossover Event!

Organized Crime stars Danielle Moné Truitt, Dean Norris, Rick Gonzalez, and Ainsley Seiger will all return alongside Meloni. Jason Patric is set to join in a recurring guest star role as Detective Tim McKenna.

Season 5 will explore “the dangerous worlds of cross-border smuggling, high-tech domestic terrorism and a crime family intent on repaying Stabler for the injury he did them in Rome,” according to an official description. “As his worlds collide, Stabler will put everything on the line to protect the vulnerable and fight for justice.”

The crossover special on NBC also means there will be a slight scheduling adjustment for Found. Originally scheduled to air a new episode on NBC at 10/9c on April 17, it will now move to Monday, April 14 at 10/9c before returning the following week to its regular Thursday time slot.

All new episodes of Law & Order, Law & Order: SVULaw & Order: Organized Crime, and Found are available on Peacock.
