Sheryl Swoopes did not like Stephen A. Smith’s recent comments, and she did not mince words when expressing her anger.

The four-time WNBA champion made her feelings for Caitlin Clark well-known over the course of the 2024 WNBA season, and it continued again this past week.

In a recent episode of her podcast, Queens of the Court, Sheryl Swoopes discussed the improvement of the Indiana Fever but failed to credit Caitlin Clark. Instead, she praised other team members, such as Aliyah Boston, Kelsey Mitchell, and Lexie Hull.

On Friday, ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith decided to hit at Swoopes over her apparent dislike of the former Iowa Hawkeyes star.

“Do you realize, Sheryl Swoopes, that you’re insane to do that?” Smith said.

He complained she’s been snubbed by some media, what he called “haterade.”

Sheryl Swoopes saw Smith mention her name and promptly fired back, calling him a coward in the process.

“You talk about whomever and whatever you want to on your podcast. Correct? So why can’t I?” she posted Saturday. “Also, did you listen to the ENTIRE episode? NOPE! I have a personal relationship with these players, and they deserve recognition as well.”

Sheryl Swoopes Previously Called Caitlin Clark A “Bully”

Houston Comets legend Sheryl Swoopes has made it known several times that she is not a fan of Caitlin Clark. While she hasn’t stated it outright, her past and current actions continue to show it.

One of her earlier comments was when Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese tried to block Clark’s shot from behind but hit her on the head instead. After the refs reviewed the situation, the foul was upgraded to flagrant.

During an episode of Gil’s Arena, Sheryl Swoopes, a guest on the show, stated that Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark was the true bully in response to Angel Reese being labeled as such.

“[Reese is] not a bully… If you want to talk about bullies, we can talk about every time Caitlin has the ball she pushes off,” Swoopes said. “I’m just saying.”

Dallas Cowboys Set The NFL On Fireworks By Dealing QB Dak Prescott To Longtime AFC Rival In Blockbuster Trade Proposal

The Dallas Cowboys kick off their 2024 NFL campaign in 15 days, and Jerry Jones still hasn’t extended quarterback Dak Prescott or wide receiver CeeDee Lamb as they head into their contract years.

Dak Prescott has one year remaining on the four-year, $160 million extension he signed with Dallas in the 2021 offseason, while the 25-year-old CeeDee Lamb is entering the fifth and final year of his rookie deal.

Some fans have started to wonder if Jones would be open to trading Prescott and Lamb. Of course, his preference is to keep both of them, but what if the Cowboys owner received an offer for his star quarterback that he can’t refuse?

The scenario seems crazy at first, but it’s not. What if Jones traded Prescott, punted on 2024 and set himself up to tank and draft a new franchise quarterback in Georgia’s Carson Beck, Texas’ Quinn Ewers or Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders next year?

One team that makes perfect sense for Dak Prescott is the Pittsburgh Steelers, who haven’t had an above-average quarterback play since Ben Roethlisberger’s last healthy season way-back-when in 2018.
