“This is how you prove your GOAT status… not by getting favoured by FIFA” – Fans react as Cristiano Ronaldo achieves ‘insane’ new milestone
Fans have hailed Cristiano Ronaldo on X after he achieved an impressive milestone following Al-Nassr’s win against Al-Rayyan (September 30). The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has now scored more goals in his thirties than in his twenties, showcasing his talent and dedication to the sport.
Cristiano Ronaldo guided Al-Nassr to an impressive 2-1 win against Al-Rayyan in their AFC Champions League clash. The 39-year-old unleashed an unstoppable effort in the 76th minute into the top corner, ensuring his side sealed all three points.
In doing so, Ronaldo has now scored 441 goals in 523 games across competitions in his thirties, averaging 0.84 goals per game. His numbers have significantly improved with age as he netted 440 goals in 596 games during his twenties, averaging 0.74 goals per game
Fans were left in awe by this unique achievement. One fan reacted by claiming this was how you proved your GOAT status, seemingly taking a dig at Lionel Messi:
“This is how you prove your goat status by showing what you do throughout your career regardless of league and club you play or age you have. Not by getting favored by FIFA.”
Another fan tweeted:
“In far fewer games. There will never be a sportsman like him ever again.”

“Records have become a part of me” – Cristiano Ronaldo speaks out after guiding Al-Nassr to AFC Champions League win
Cristiano Ronaldo has admitted he is now used to breaking records after he helped Al-Nassr defeat Al-Rayyan 2-1 in the AFC Champions League at Al-Awwal Park.
Sadio Mane gave the hosts the lead in the first minute of stoppage time before the break before Ronaldo scored a screamer in the 76th minute. Roger Guedes netted a consolation goal for Al-Rayyan in the 87th minute but was unable to reverse his side’s fortunes.
During the post-match press conference, Ronaldo stated (via @TheNassrZone):
“Records have become a part of me and I’m used to breaking them.”
He also said:
“It is not important to me now to be the best player or to win awards. What is important to me now is to enjoy and be useful to my team and my country’s national team.”
Cristiano Ronaldo has been in fine form for Al-Nassr this season, garnering seven goals and two assists in eight appearances across competitions. They are now third in Group B in the Champions League with four points from two games.
