Camavinga scores first goal for France in a major tournament, drops assist too

Eduardo Camavinga has just scored his first goal for France at a major tournament.

The midfielder also registered an assist for France’s second goal in the game all inside the opening 30 minutes. France lead Israel 2-1.

Camavinga has played 22 times for France. The Real Madrid powerhouse scored his first goal for his country in their 7-1 win against Ukraine in a friendly match.

The game against Israel is a Nations League fixture. France won the trophy in 2021 with Camavinga as part of the squad.
