According to the source, Ben Affleck’s first wife, Jennifer Garner, supported Violet’s bond with Lopez, prioritising her children’s happiness. However, the family found it unusual that Violet was seen wearing Lopez’s clothes and receiving visits from Lopez’s sister, Lynda, at college. “Jen even let this slide,” the source added.

As Affleck and Lopez’s marriage fell apart, Violet distanced herself from her former stepmother. “Over time, Violet started to see how upset her father was,” the source said, noting that while Affleck never spoke ill of Lopez, Violet remained loyal to him.

Ben Affleck have three children together – Violet Anne, 19, Fin, 16, and Samuel, 12. On the other hand, Jennifer Lopez co-parents her twins – Max and Emme – with ex-husband, Marc Antony.

Affleck and Lopez finalised their divorce in January, settling financial matters, including their $61 million Los Angeles estate, with both parties keeping individually acquired assets and waiving spousal support.
