Barcelona ‘showing interest’ in Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey
Barcelona are showing an interest in signing Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey, Jordi Batalla of Mundo Deportivo reports.
The option to sign Partey is a real one for Barca as they need an experienced defensive midfielder who can come in and help the youngsters at the club like Marc Casado and Marc Bernal while costing them nothing in transfer fees.
Partey checks all those boxes for Barca. The Ghanian midfielder will become a free agent in the summer as his contract ends in 2025.
Partey also has La Liga experience having played for a years at Atletico Madrid before joining Arsenal.
