Barcelona may battle Real Madrid for Jamal Musiala
Fabrizio Romano reported this week that Jamal Musiala is a player Real Madrid really likes. The Whites could push for the young German midfielder as a replacement for Luka Modric who is expected to leave next summer.
But Barcelona are also keeping an eye on Musiala’s situation, per Catalan source Diario Sport.
Barca president Joan Laporta is said to be a huge admirer of Musiala and could push for his signature in 2025.
Musiala has an asking price of 130 million euros but that price could drastically reduce in a year with his contract set to expire in 2026.
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder once hailed Pedri as “an amazing footballer.” That could mean he already has friends in Catalonia.
Perhaps there could be a thug of war for Musiala’s signature between Madrid and Barca if the player doesn’t extend his contract at Bayern. The Bavarians have said they will do everything to keep him.
