Barca receives red card in back-to-back Champions League games, who is at fault now?
Barcelona have received another red card in a Champions League game. In their last Champion League game against PSG when Ronald Araujo was sent off. This time the red card goes to Eric Garcia for the same reason Araujo was sent off — stopping a goalscoring opportunity.
Who is at fault for Garcia’s red card
It’s none other than Ter Stegen.
The German goalkeeper’s misjudgment and poor pass allowed Monaco’s forward to break through, forcing Garcia to commit a last-ditch tackle that earned him a straight red card.
Barcelona have now conceded in the game while being one man down.
