Antoine Griezmann could potentially reunite with Lionel Messi at Inter Miami, as the Atletico Madrid star has reportedly received multiple offers from Major League Soccer (MLS). According to Spanish publication Sport, Griezmann is considering a move to the league, seeking an environment with less pressure. Although he is under contract with Atletico until 2026, the club may be open to letting him go if they receive a suitable offer.
Atletico Madrid is already looking for potential replacements, with Frederico Chiesa on their radar. Given Juventus’s financial difficulties, Chiesa could be available for around €60 million ($64m/£51m), a fee Atletico might be willing to pay if Griezmann departs.
Griezmann himself has expressed a desire to play in MLS, stating in a previous interview with the Daily Mail that his “objective would be to end there” and that he would like to “enjoy playing” in the league while remaining competitive. This makes a move to MLS a genuine possibility if the right offer comes along.
