4 Barca players with a point to prove after the international break
Barcelona have made a blistering start to the season, winning all four of their opening games.
However, some players are yet to make a significant impact and will be focused on doing so after the last international break.
Here are four Barca players with a point to prove:
1. Ferran Torres
The 24-year-old Spanish forward has failed to make a lasting impression on the pitch, despite his tireless work ethic. After being benched against Real Valladolid, Torres came off the bench to score and assist in a 7-0 win, sending a message to manager Hansi Flick.
2. Eric Garcia
After an impressive loan spell at Girona and a strong showing at the Olympics, Garcia has struggled to break into the Barca lineup, playing just 55 minutes so far. He needs to prove himself to Flick and stake his claim for a regular starting spot.
3. Pau Victor
The young striker joined Barca permanently in the summer but has managed just six minutes of playing time. With competition fierce, Victor must seize any opportunity that comes his way to demonstrate his worth.
4. Ansu Fati
Despite Flick’s faith in him, Fati is yet to feature this season due to injury. With the manager opting against another loan exit, Fati must now prove his fitness and form to justify Flick’s decision and become a key player for Barca.
