Luna seems especially enamored!

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s fifth baby is fitting into their family beautifully.

The busy parents recently dropped the surprise news that they welcomed a baby boy named Wren via surrogate on June 19—just six months after Teigen gave birth to their daughter Esti on January 13. That means within a short span of time, Legend and Teigen’s eldest children, seven-year-old Luna and five-year-old Miles, became older siblings twice over! Based on new photos and video shared by the 37-year-old model, they’re handling the transition swimmingly.

Teigen shared a series of new baby photos featuring their new additions on June 30. In the first pic, she holds baby Esti on her lap as the little girl smiles at something off camera. Wren appears in the second photo, being held and fed by his big sister Luna while Miles pulls a silly face. Luna, however, only has eyes for her new brother. “Babies babies babies,” Teigen captioned the slideshow, which also features another sweet shot of Esti.

In fact, Luna seems unwilling to let baby Wren leave her arms. Later in the day, Teigen shared an Instagram Stories video of the seven-year-old holding her sibling while watching TV and enjoying a snack. Look how she supports his little head! Now that’s love.

However, these were not our first glimpses at Teigen’s youngest child. On June 29, Teigen shared two sweet photos of the newborn. A day later, she posted the first video of baby Wren and his full head of hair, captioning the clip, “The hair. Simple Plan is shaking.”

In her initial announcement, Chrissy Teigen explained that she was always hoping to raise four children. After experiencing a devastating pregnancy loss with their third child, Jack, in 2020, she said she and Legend had explored the idea of having “tandem surrogates” carry a set of siblings simultaneously. “After losing Jack, I didn’t think I’d be able to carry any more babies on my own,” she wrote. “To be honest, I’ve personally blocked out a lot of my mindset during that time, but one clear memory is being surrounded by people who wanted to make sure I wouldn’t go through that pain and loss again.”

“At some point early in our surrogacy journey, I came out of a therapy session, walked downstairs and said to John—I want to try to carry just one more time,” she continued. “If it doesn’t work, we will be okay.”

Ultimately, Teigen was able to share part of her pregnancy journey with the couple’s surrogate Alexandra. “We ate hot pot to celebrate, watched Vanderpump Rules with our growing bellies, our families blending into one for the past year,” Teigen wrote. “We want to say thank you for this incredible gift you have given us, Alexandra. And we are so happy to tell the world he is here, with a name forever connected to you, Wren Alexander Stephens.”

She concluded her message, “Our hearts, and our home, are officially full. And to our Jack, we both know their angel kisses are from you.”
