Gable Steveson is the ‘star player’ for the NFL and could shake Patrick Mahomes: He’s a beast
The future still looks bright for Steveson
Former Olympic gold medalist Gable Steveson has found himself a free agent after parting ways with WWE.
Yet, the future still looks bright for Steveson, as he reportedly has multiple NFL teams interested in harnessing his athletic talents on the football field.
“Gable Steveson is very grateful for the opportunities he had with WWE and would like to thank everybody in the organization who helped him get there,” Steveson‘s manager, Dave Martin, said.
“He would also like to thank the fans who supported him on his professional wrestling journey. Now, Gable is ready to resume competing against elite level competition and looks forward to sharing big news with you all very soon.”
This buzz has sparked considerable excitement among fans on social media, who are keen to see how he might fare in the NFL.
Steveson is no stranger to the idea of transitioning from wrestling to football. In fact, after clinching the gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, he caught the attention of scouts from the Buffalo Bills. Now, with his WWE career concluded, the prospect of shifting to football seems increasingly plausible.
“Multiple NFL teams have reached out to Gable Steveson,” Martin stressed.
“He has also been training at Kill Cliff FC with Henri Hooft and Robbie Lawler. There is no shortage of opportunities to compete.
Fan reaction to the reports
At 23 years old, Steveson boasts impressive physical stats, standing 6’1 and weighing 265 pounds. His background in athletics is solid, with a dominant collegiate wrestling record of 67-2 and an impressive senior contest tally of 40-6, underlining his potential for success in professional sports.
He’s a beast,” a fan noted.
“He’d need some technique on the DL, but he’s a natural beast,” another added.
