Rousey is considering the switch to WWE after suffering two devastating defeats in UFC to Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes.

And according to the Wrestling Observer, WWE are keen on bringing the dream match between the two groups to life.

The first showdown between the women took place in the Mae Young Classic – which is where the world’s greatest female wrestlers compete.

Flair, Bayley, and Lynch had a confrontation with all four of the MMA Horsewomen, with Banks joining them on Facetime.

The two groups now seem to be on course to collide in the WWE.

It is believed there will be huge progressions regarding the story line at the Mae Young Classic finals.

Rousey has appeared in the WWE before, in 2004 she appeared at WWE’s flagship SummerSlam show where she was interviewed and teased a move into pro wrestling.

Jon Jones is the latest from the world of MMA rumoured to be considering a switch, while Ronda Rousey has reportedly been training to make her WWE debut.

But former world champion Rollins is adamant that the current roster is star-studded enough.

The 31-year-old said: “I think we have maybe the most talented roster of all time.

“I don’t think we need anybody to help or crossover.

“If they want to come over to our world and have some fun then that’s cool but we’re happy doing our thing on our own.”

Although Rollins has his reservations, the WWE have already worked with a number of big names in the past to help boost ratings.

Rousey made a memorable appearance back at WrestleMania 31 alongside The Rock as she got one over Stephanie McMahon.

And Triple H has recently invited Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather to appear on Monday Night Raw prior to their boxing match later this month.

However, Rollins is preparing for his own big match-up as he looks set to team-up with Dean Ambrose to take on Sheamus and Cesaro at SummerSlam.

Rollins said: “SummerSlam was a big part of my childhood and there’ve been some legendary matches.

“I really liked it when Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior teamed up against Slaughter and Adnan one year.

“I loved it when Liz and Savage got married too. Bulldog and Bret at Wembley, the TLC match between The Hardyz, Dudleys, Edge & Christian; there’s a tonne of memories.”
