Hahaa! Ryan Reynolds jokes that Taylor Swift will decide the name of his fourth baby with Blake Lively during her explosive Eras Tour currently happening in Europe

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively famously allowed Taylor Swift to reveal the name of their third child via song four years ago.

So there was much speculation over whether Taylor, 34, had also let slip the name of their fourth child in her newest album, The Tortured Poets Department – which was released just over a year after the couple welcomed their latest addition.

Blake quietly revealed that she had given birth to baby number four in February last year – but she and Ryan have yet to reveal their bundle of joy’s name, prompting Today host Savannah Guthrie to ask the actor if their child’s name had once again been revealed by their close friend Taylor.

‘We always wait for Taylor to tell us what the child’s name is,’ Ryan, 47, during an on-air interview, before adding, ‘And I will say this: We’re still waiting.’

‘She’s a prolific writer — I mean, what are we doing here? And “lazy” is not a word I’d attach to Taylor,’ he humorously added.

Taylor previously confirmed that Blake and Ryan had allowed her to reveal their name of their third child in her 2020 track Betty.

The couple welcomed their third child, daughter Betty, in 2019.

‘I named all the characters in this story after my friend’s kids, and I hope you like it!’ she said at the time, after fans first noticed she had used the monikers of the beloved Hollywood couple’s eldest daughters, James and Inez.

Ryan and Blake welcomed baby number four in February 2023.

At the time, a source told US Weekly: ‘Blake and Ryan knew this would be quite a transition growing their family to six now, but they’re all adjusting wonderfully. It’s a very happy time for all of them.’

Later that year, Ryan told Extra that he was absolutely ‘thrilled’ and ‘couldn’t be happier.’

Additionally, he told ET Canada that ‘three to four’ was less of a jump than going from two to three children.

‘I cannot speak for my wife, but it’s just from what I’ve observed. But, we love it. You know, we would be idiots to do this again if we didn’t love it,’ he gushed

Swift’s 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, became an instant success following its release on April 19.

The singer’s latest album has officially topped the Billboard 200 album charts for a third week in a row, via Billboard.

The album is the first to spend its first three weeks atop the album charts since Travis Scott’s Utopia debuted on top for four weeks in a row from August 12, 2023 to September 2, 2023.

It was Swift’s first album to spend its first three weeks on top of the charts since 2020’s Folklore.

All in all, The Tortured Poet’s Department is the sixth Swift album to reach #1 on the album charts of her 11 albums.
