Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’s love story is nothing less than a fairy tale. The duo first met at  MET Gala last year where they shared a table. Soon, Nick dropped her a text message suggesting her that they should connect. What followed next was a series of dinner dates and outing together.

Just two months of dating and Nick popped her the question. Before the world could register their romance, Nick zoomed off to India and officially sealed their relationship with a roka ceremony. Now, the couple is all set to get married next month.

After her lovely bridal shower, Priyanka Chopra opened up about the love of her life and revealed why she considered herself ‘taken’ only after Nick put a ring on her finger-

PeeCee told People magazine, “This is the first time I was comfortable with being with someone who is such an incredible partner, so it just felt natural.”

“And plus there was a ring on it! I always said that when there’s a ring on it I’ll talk about it because you’re single until you’re married,” the actress told the publication.

I’ve never been public about my relationships. But that was a decision I took when I was very young,” said the actress.

Speaking about why she always kept her love life under wraps, PeeCee explained, “Especially in entertainment because women have such public lives, we always end up being reduced to a plus one or ‘blahblahblah’s’ girlfriend. And I wanted to give myself enough time where I’m able to stand on my own two feet and have my identity as well.”

Priyanka quipped, “Truly this is what worked for me, he has to be someone who respects you. Then everything is so easy because you give each other credit for your intelligence, you give each other the benefit of the doubt because you trust each other. There’s so much that comes out of that. I think don’t settle for less than that.”

Reportedly, Priyanka and Nick are all set to tie the knot the Mehrangarh Fort in Rajasthan. It will be a four-day affair beginning from November 29 to December 2.
