How powerful is a dance? Well, it’s no exaggeration to say it can brighten your day, bring instant joy, and connect people more closely. That’s exactly what happened during a Boston Celtics game.
On that day when Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ On A Prayer” began playing, the camera focused on a man sitting with his mother. She eagerly tapped his leg, giving him a nudge of encouragement. No one expected what was about to happen.
Her son, Jeremy Fry, suddenly jumped up and started an out-of-control dance to the 1986 hair metal hit that took him across 20 rows of seats.
He greeted fans, shared hugs, and even planted a few kisses as he danced by. Jeremy went all out, leaping around, miming an air guitar, and singing like he was at a live Bon Jovi show.
The crowd joined in with Fry, and as he danced down the aisle, they sang along and some even hugged him while rocking out to the Bon Jovi classic. Fry’s spontaneous and carefree dance struck a chord with everyone.
Jeremy’s impromptu Bon Jovi dance video went viral, racking up nearly 17 million views as people loved watching him get completely lost in the music.
Online fans were thrilled by Fry’s energy, leaving comments like, “I’ve watched this dozens of times over the ten years since it was first posted. Still brings joy to see this amazing young man show such creativity, love and respect totally unrehearsed and spontaneous. He’s a treasure.”
