John Legend is eager for his own photo shoot following Chrissy Teigen’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue return.
Teigen, 38, and Legend, 45, regularly poke fun at one another on social media, and on May 16, the Cravings cookbook author posted a funny clip on Instagram of her husband stoked to take some snaps while covered in gold.
“Chrissy! I’m ready!” the “All of Me” hitmaker said from the top of the stairs in the video, to which Teigen responded from the couch, “Your shoot’s Monday.”
Cue: Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For,” which played as Legend made himself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, while still wearing the gold mask and lavish-looking dressing gown. A dejected Legend then shed tears and stared blankly into the mirror.
To cheer himself up, the upset singer attempted to play with daughter Esti, 1, write a song at the piano, and even watch some TV.
Not even holding up the Best Original Song Oscar that he won in 2015 for his and Common’s Selma track “Glory” would turn his frown upside down. In fact, he sook his head, defeated.

The Voice coach eventually wiped the gold mask off his face — but missed the area behind his ears . “Poor John was made for his golden close up…” Teigen captioned the clip.
The post comes after Teigen’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover was revealed earlier this week to mark the publication’s 60th anniversary.

Teigen won the publication’s Rookie of the Year in 2010, before appearing on the 2014 cover alongside models Nina Agdal and Lily Aldridge.
In addition to posing in a plunging, peachy Saint Laurent one-piece and other stunning swimwear, Teigen also wore a glittering gold gown on another anniversary cover honoring legends.
On Instagram, Teigen wrote, “10 years since my first @si_swimsuit cover and I am so happy to be back with my family!! thank you so, so much for being there through so many different stages of my life and for always loving and rooting for me.”

“Getting to shoot for you has always been a career highlight – you guys taught me that I could be more than I ever imagined for myself. I love you so much @mj_day, my day 1,” the star added, referencing the editor-in-chief of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.
“The greatest example of a champion, boss, mom and friend. I love you so much @yutsai88, also my day 1. Shooting with you is the easiest day of belly laughs and dirty jokes,” Teigen added, giving a shoutout to photographer Yu Tsai.
Teigen’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue cover is on newsstands now.
