With more than 1 million votes, Caitlin Clark to serve as WNBA All-Star captain with Napheesa Collier
Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever received the most votes for the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game and will be a team captain for the July 19 game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
The league reported Sunday that Clark received almost 1.3 million votes, and will be a captain along with Napheesa Collier of the Minnesota Lynx.
The remaining eight All-Star starters will be revealed at 7 p.m. ET Monday, June 30, during ESPN’s NBA free agency coverage. Clark and Collier will make their roster picks, which will be revealed at 7 p.m. ET Tuesday, July 8.

Clark is averaging 18.2 points, 8.9 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game in her second season with the Fever. She was also an All-Star in 2024, when she won Rookie of the Year and first-team all-league honors.
Collier averages 24.5 points, 8.4 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.5 blocked shots, leading the Lynx to the WNBA’s best record (13-2). This will be her fifth All-Star appearance, and she played for the US team that won the gold medal in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The Fever and Lynx meet Tuesday night in Minneapolis in the Commissioner’s Cup championship game.
