Chrissy Teigen was not as pleasantly surprised as fans might have expected when John Legend told her ‘The Voice’ coaches would be spending the finale night at their place.
According to PopCulture, Legend had told Teigen that he planned on inviting the coaches over for dinner, but he didn’t tell her that it would be on the finale night until that day. Teigen immediately began to panic about preparing for such an important dinner so last minute. She took to Twitter to vent about it.

“I didn’t know tonight was the voice finale. John invited everyone to dinner at the house after and I’m really fucking mad because I didn’t make a f**ing FINALE meal,” she tweeted during the show. “I would have gotten a cake or something too?? Who the fck does this? U don’t win the voice then eat short ribs.”
While initially, the tweets seemed lighthearted and on the verge of jokey, Teigen then went to reveal some serious contention around their relationship.
“It sounds dumb yes but this is VERY john,” she continued. “I am always in charge of doing the fun, extra s— and he has no idea how much I plan normally and he’s like ‘no it’s fine they just wanna have dinner’ but it’s literally the finale of their show??? And I have no ice cream truck.”
Teigen clearly wanted to go above and beyond for the three ‘The Voice’ coaches because she has a lot of respect for them.
Some fans called Teigen out for overreacting to which she responded, “if u think this is stupid go ahead and tell me what you made when Blake Kelly and Gwen came over to your house.”
Legend eventually took to twitter to apologize.
“I’m working on a solution. I’m sorry for stressing you out!” Legend tweeted.
Teigen wasn’t having any of it though. She dissed him in response.
“thanks for working on it at 8pm but like everything in your life, it’s been handled,” Teigen responded.
“IT IS THEIR SHOW FINALE why does he not know how to be extra,” she asked her followers frustratedly, “if they show up in their show clothes I will absolutely die in my robe.”
Teigen though, as promised, seemed to get the whole situation under control doing things her way with Legend’s help.
“omfg I ordered like 5 milk bar cakes before john’s one cake got here from the SAME place and he thinks he is some fucking hero,” she tweeted.
