‘I DO NOT REGRET’: After 19 years, Sean Paul breaks the silence about his ‘AFFAIR’ with Beyonce | HO
The “Baby Boy” duo of Beyonce and Sean Paul, featured on Beyoncé’s debut solo album Dangerously in Love , was the summer song when it was released in 2003. The hit sparked rumors of romance between the two collaborators – despite the fact that Beyoncé already was in a relationship with her current husband, rapper Jay Z.
In a new interview with “The Daily Beast”, Sean talked about speculation and closed the claims that he and Beyonce had something more than a working relationship. “Nah! I would like to do it! “ he said, when asked if they bonded during that era. “She is beautiful”.
In fact, Sean said they “performed the song only three times together.”
“She had some hits but we didn’t really hang out,” said the musician. “I have always admired her music and she is beautiful. So when I heard that Beyoncé was coming out alone and wanted me to do a song, I felt like ‘Hell f-king yeah’.
However, despite rumors of romance, Sean has not regretted collaborating with Beyoncé.
“It was a great song, luck, s3xy,” he said, adding that although the two only performed together a few times, they managed to create a “s3x video, s3x song and lots of s3x gossip.”
