WWE Night Of Chaos: The Bloodline Battles Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, The Rock, And Brock Lesnar In An Unforgettable Showdown!

As WWE enjoys its latest boom period, The Bloodline continues to be one of the most important acts in the company. The faction has helped Triple H turn around the fortunes of the promotion, with Roman Reigns’ monumental world title reign being the pinnacle of main event storylines throughout the past few years.

Solo Sikoa continues to head up the remaining Bloodline that includes Tama Tonga and the exciting Jacob Fatu, but the faction’s luster has undoubtedly waned in recent times. As Roman Reigns and The Usos go off in different directions, it is clear that the group is becoming less important to WWE, which is why it will soon be time to end The Bloodline for good.

WWE Has Rushed To The End Of The Bloodline
Roman Reigns’ Recent Win Over Solo Sikoa Finished Any Remaining Business
Part of The Bloodline’s recent slowing down has been that WWE opted to speed-run through some of the remaining story elements that were left in recent months. Namely, The OG Bloodline defeating Solo Sikoa’s new Bloodline at Survivor Series means that not only has Roman Reigns and The Usos reunited, but they have also taken on the dissenters to the group and won.

Of course, WWE could and probably will continue to have Reigns and The Usos interact with Solo’s Bloodline in some capacity over the next few months, but the main part of the story has been settled. Roman defeated Sikoa on the debut of Raw on Netflix to cement himself as the true ‘Tribal Chief’ and, truthfully, he now seems to be above the whole Bloodline drama.

It does feel as though Triple H has decided to rush through the remaining threads of The Bloodline story ahead of WrestleMania to move on from the story afterward. There is also the possibility that he was readying WWE for a potential Rock return at WrestleMania 41, which does not seem to be coming to fruition as he effectively killed his potential feuds with Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns.

The Original Bloodline Members Are Moving On
The Bloodline Needs Roman Reigns And The Usos’ Involvement
As well as Solo Sikoa and his new Bloodline have done to establish their version of the group over the past year, it is clear that it is an imitation of the original faction that was led by Roman Reigns. As ‘The Head of the Table’ drifts further away from the story, investment in the group will continue to diminish until Sikoa’s version falters one way or another.

The Bloodline became such a compelling act due to the work that Reigns, Paul Heyman, Sami Zayn, and The Usos did to build it as a peak sports entertainment storyline. Without these characters being involved, the group will naturally not feel the same, meaning that the group has to end when the original members move on for good.

With The Rock separating himself from the storyline during his strange Raw promo where he joked around with Cody Rhodes, it is clear that the last remaining element of The Bloodline storyline had been nipped in the bud. Roman could have taken on The Rock for their outstanding dispute that also seems to have been brushed over, meaning that all Bloodline business has effectively been concluded.

WWE Can Move On From The Bloodline
Although it may feel difficult for WWE to move on from its cash cow in The Bloodline saga, it is necessary for WWE to continue its hot streak. Wrestling has a habit of stretching out its biggest storylines for too long, be it the nWo in WCW or Steve Austin’s run at the top during the Attitude Era. It is wise for a promoter to move on from something successful early to build the hype around other acts and storylines.

WWE is fortunate that it now has so many other performers who could contribute in the same way that The Bloodline did for years. For instance, Cody Rhodes is set to become the next John Cena, whilst the man himself returns for his final run in 2025. Other stars like Gunther, Drew McIntyre, and Kevin Owens continue to excel under Triple H and could still have their best work yet to come.

As for the remaining Bloodine members themselves, Solo Sikoa has leveled up to the spot given to him and will surely be successful in WWE for years to come. Jacob Fatu continues to be the most exciting unknown in the company and could make it to the very top of the card whenever The Bloodline has moved on. Jey Uso has shown the path towards individual stardom following his exit from The Bloodline, and Jimmy has also begun his singles run.

The future remains bright for WWE and the various contributors to The Bloodline saga over the years and Triple H should not be afraid of moving on from the legendary stable after WrestleMania 41. What he should be a concern is having the faction rumble on for too long, diminishing the legacy that it has earned for its important work over the past few years.
