'They robbed him so hard': Real Madrid fans fume as Cole Palmer wins England POTY award over Bellingham

Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer was awarded the England Men’s Player of the Year award for the 2023/24 season by the Football Association.

This is rather bizarre considering how Palmer spent the majority of the Euro 2024 campaign on the bench. Real Madrid man Jude Bellingham did so much better, only to come out empty-handed.

Indeed, Jude not only had 36 goal contributions (23 goals, 13 assist) for Los Blancos last season, but he also scored two goals and provided an assist for England in the Euros.

Despite all his good work, Bellingham had to witness Palmer win the award over him for some strange reason. Real Madrid fans are fuming about this robbery, as they reacted on X (Twitter).

Dr Yash: “Bellingham actually needs a better PR person coz they robbed him so hard, man.”

One: “This should have went to Bellingham who was absolutely clutch for England and grabbed an assist in the final. One day we will talk about what the English media did to Jude throughout the Euros.”

Benson: “Madrid fans do not let anyone gaslight you into thinking Bellingham have massive PR; he is actually one of the most underrated players in the world.”

Themadridology: “It’s insane how everyone just decided to erase what Jude Bellingham did last season from existence. Unbelievable.”

Markinho: “Jude should basically do what Courtois did with Belgium.. ungrateful rats.”

Witcholo: “Jude Bellingham’s biggest crime is not going to the Premier League, so whatever he achieved outside England is none of their business.”

Fans think Jude Bellingham should ditch no.5 shirt ASAP for one reason
